CALCIUM, NY – Francis E. Seymour, 79, of Calcium, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday May 14, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Arrangements are with North Country Cremation Service, a subsidiary of Cleveland Funeral Home, Watertown, NY.
Francis was born on December 11, 1937 in Clayton, NY to the late Joseph and Agnes Vanduzen Seymour. He earned his GED and went on to serve in the Army. After his discharge, Francis worked many jobs but much of his employment was in construction with General Sign of Carthage, NY.
Mr. Seymour married Geraldine Woodard and the couple had five children, Richard Woodard, Cynthia Pernice, Francis E. Seymour, Karen Russell, and Russell Seymour. The marriage ended in divorce. Mr. Seymour then married Mary Langridge. The couple had three children, Frank (Gayle) Seymour, Lorraine; Donna (Forrest) Taylor, Calcium; Rickie (Shiloh) Seymour, Watertown.
Surviving in addition to his children are his brothers, Vernal, John, Robert, and Manfred Seymour; sisters, Dorean Seymour, Beverly Seymour and Betty Angus, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A private service for the family will be held.
Any donations can be made in Francis' name to Jefferson County Hospice of Watertown.
